Darver & Dromiskin Parish – Blessing of the Cross at the Five Cross Roads
Sunday 23rd November, on the Feast of Christ the King, our parish community gathered at the Five Cross Roads for the blessing of our newly erected Crucifix.
Dermot & James Breen, planned, constructed, and installed this beautiful new Cross after the original first erected on Good Friday 2000 was blown down in a storm earlier this year.
We give thanks to everyone who joined us in honouring, praising, and worshipping our loving God who gave His life for us on the Cross.
A very special thank you to everyone who attended on Sunday or participated in any way and especially to Dermot & James for their tremendous work and dedication.
Our parish community is deeply grateful! ![]()
