Our Lady Queen of Peace Pastoral Area in the Archdiocese of Armagh, Ireland. The Pastoral Area is comprised of four parishes in mid Louth: Darver & Dromiskin, Kilkerley, Knockbridge & Louth.
Every first Sunday of the month, we celebrate Welcoming Sunday in our pastoral area.
During Mass, our vetted volunteers gather the children (from pre-school up to 2nd class) to a special space in the church where they can: Hear the Gospel in a way made just for them, Enjoy stories, colouring, and creative activities, Meet new friends in a faith-filled environment
This gives our little ones a joyful experience of God’s Word and gives parents a small break too!
After Mass, everyone is invited to join us for a cuppa, biscuits , and juice for the kids.
Our parish is blessed with so many children and families who take part in Children’s Liturgy, but we need a few more helping hands! ![]()
We are currently looking for volunteers for Darver and Dromiskin Parishes.
If you can give a little of your time once a month, you’ll be helping our youngest parishioners hear God’s Word in a joyful and meaningful way. All volunteers will be fully supported and Garda-vetted. No special skills are needed, just a kind heart and a willingness to share the faith. ![]()
Sign up after Mass or contact the parish office to get involved.
